Here are the results of the diesel engine simulator tests that I ran from the ARC.
This is what the first page of the simulator appears as: DEFAULT SETTINGS Here is the SUMMARY of the default settings. This is what happens when fuel is increased from .1879 to .1979 Summary 2. Here is what happens when intake pressure is decreased from 2.5 Bar to 2.0 Bar Result 3. Here is what happens when exhaust pressure is decreased from 2.2 Bar to 1.2 Bar RESULT 4. Here is what happens when timing is advanced from.343 to .357 RESULT 5. Here is what happens when timing is retarded to .338 RESULT 6.
As can be seen by the above tests that increasing fuel results in increased temperature, decreasing air results in substantial temperature increase. |
